Just heard reindeer hoofs                       

Tapping all over my roof                            

It’s no mistake I’m wide awake

I heard when those sleigh bells shook

Everyone’s fast asleep

I want to go down and take a peek

It’s Christmas Eve and I’ve waited all year

I’ve been good so Santa Claus is here

OH HOW HAPPY CHRISTMAS DAY WILL BE

JUST HEARD REINDEER HOOFS TAPPING ALL OVER MY ROOF

OH HOW HAPPY CHRISTMAS DAY WILL BE

Carolers singing on my porch tonight

Snowman puffing on a corn cob pipe

Christmas Dinner we’ll all be there

We’ll all give thanks for a wonderful year

The sun’s coming up, I can’t wait to see

What this long night has brought to me

I’ll fly down the stairs, skipping all the steps

Santa made good on the promise I kept
